SHS4 Lewes
Description
In central Lewes, my 2 bedroom house is on a tree lined twitten ( a Sussex term for a path) set back and above the road, and overlooking the town gardens. It has a small courtyard garden with an area for eating outside in good weather. A few hundred yards from the High Street and castle it is also only a 5 minute walk from the station (Brighton 20 mins and London 1hr 5 mins).
Area Synopsis
Lewes is a cultural centre with a number of art galleries and other places of interest, and for food lovers there is a wide range of eating places. The South Downs are accessible from the town, and the sea is approximately 8 miles. Glyndebourne is approximately 5 miles.

Personal Details
I have been a career housewife and mother, although since my children left home I have been involved in interior design, hospital administration and business public relations. In latter years I have been an occasional freelance writer of feature articles on various subjects. Currently my days are taken up walking my two dogs on the Downs, spending time with my family, grandchildren and close friends and finding new and exciting creative outlets. When I go away I like to find new places to walk, visit NT properties and gardens, and have lovely leisurely pub lunches. I am willing to put my dogs in kennels when I go to houses which do not welcome animals.
